Emotion Capture
Description
EMOTICA is a set of application research projects developed from an instantaneous emotion detection platform from the analysis of a set of multimodal physiological signals. This platform, bearing the same name EMOTICA, is resulting from the research work of the SPARKS team of the laboratory of I3S, UMR 7271 and McSOC team of the laboratory LEAT, UMR 7238 CNRS- UNS, University of Côte d'Azur.
Two first applicative research projects were launched in March 2017.
The first, called "EMOTICA Mobile (EM)", is to carry the detection system, currently installed under MATLAB, on a mobile device such as a tablet, a smartphone.
The second project, called "EMOTICA Quantification Station (EQS)", consists in creating a platform for annotating and classifying emotional states by characteristics of the multimodal physiological signals.
